Optimist and ILCA beginner-to-champion pathway. All ages from 8 years old.
PROGRESSION LEVELS

Level 1 — Beginner
First contact with the water. Balance, equipment, basic manoeuvres.
Ages: 8–10

Level 2 — Sailor
Confident boat handling, racing starts, basic tactics.
Ages: 10–12

Level 3 — Racer
Race preparation, fleet racing, mark roundings, protest procedures.
Ages: 12–15

Level 4 — Elite
National championship preparation. Transition to ILCA at 15+.
Ages: 14+

Optimist
Ages 8–15. World’s most popular youth class. Full racing academy with national circuit participation.
ILCA (Laser)
Ages 15+. Olympic single-hander. ILCA 4, ILCA 6, ILCA 7. National and international competition.
